First of all, it is the time when a lot of people are off from school or taking time off from work anyway. In addition, most patients tend to travel away from their local home town to another city or even country for hair transplant surgery nowadays. Having your hair transplant surgery in winter is less likely to interfere with your lifestyle.   We tend to spend more time indoor during the winter months  anyway so having a hair transplant surgery in winter is less likely to affect your day to day routine and more conducive to the healing process. Also, wearing hats in the winter months is a normal thing to do for many and this makes a perfect camouflage by default for your surgery.  Another plus for choosing winter as the best time for hair transplant surgery is that by the time your grafts are all grown out, you will be ready for the summer outdoor activities with a new head of hair.
