Question about DSC cells...

» Oh Iron_Man :( . I am afraid that the evidence you provide is overwhelming,
» it makes wanna sell my stocks right now. Especially with how sneaky
» replicel sounds before even phase 1.

Not sure whether or not this "analysis" is legit ...
http://www.hotstocked.com/article/35012/non-stop-promotions-for-replicel-life-sciences.html

... but some parts might be true. If you got some shares rather "cheap" - KEEP THEM. Of course they will publish soon some nicely "looking forward" and "we are so excited" reports, but you will NOT see something convincing. But such reports are always good enough for "stay tuned and invest" ...

» I hope AGA is much more simpler than that because if everything you have
» said is true, then I do not see a cure in the next 200 years.

Within the coming 5-10 years or so, the focus will still be the creation of lots of brand new hair follicles in the lab ready for transplantation. For a REALISTIC approach, this requires 2 very important and separate things - as recently shown by the Tokyo guys:

1) replication/creation of the proper "niche" (aka proper programmed donor area skin derived from donor area skin cells for the proper "micro-environment" );

2) separate replication/creation of donor area follicles with donor area hair follicle cells or maybe everything directly in combination with 1).

Such an approach seems more realistic to accomplish than the attempt of "repairing" or "rejuvenating" or "reprogramming" of any existing follicles.

To accomplish the latter, this could indeed still take DECADES until scientists are able to "decode" all complex dialogs within the hair follicle as well as outside of hair follicles - including the development of proper and SAFE measures against any "program bugs" or "malfunctions".

Concerning the "realistic approach" - depending on your norwood-status, you CAN already start TODAY with HST to fill up bald areas - if necessary step-by-step and without any big loss of donor material and the healing in both sites (donor as well as recipient) is always perfect. And as soon as they can indeed create hairs in the lab as much as you want (HST has of course limitations due to the size of your donor area), you can always add them in the bald areas thereafter IF you still need them. There clearly is no such big difference between implanting of HST grafts or implanting of so called proto-hairs.

Those guys with nw7 to nw10 heads - I suggest they should wait for hair cloing in labs. The question remains, HOW MANY follicles can they create at once in the labs and HOW MANY can they implant at once onto severe bald heads? What happens if they simply can't implant lab hairs as dense as you want at once, even if they could? Costs?

Anyway, concerning the "rejuvenation" approach of vellus or miniaturized hairs - this approach is simply too difficult/complex - TODAY. But even this approach and related science is very important to produce those hair follicles in the labs, who finally should produce normal thick and long terminal hairs on your head after implantation.

Question about DSC cells...

» i wrote exactly those things in my posting
»
» That cells have to be guided to do what they can
»
» and what does our austrian guy do? jop he steals this

Excuse me, since you stalk me everywhere with different usernames since more than 2 years, could you please show me at least 1 of your (psychiatric)posts whose content could be worth "to steal"?

Thanks in advance.

P.s.- I would estimate that there are hundreds baldies out there on the internet who regularly post any posts in any hair loss forums. What exactly is the magic reason why you don't comment THEIR posts instead of stalking me everywhere and commenting 90% of just my posts?

So what exactly is the magic reason for that??

btw - could you also please explain why and how "cells have to be guided to do what they can"? Thanks in advance.

Question about DSC cells...

»
» Come on, this is not the right topic for you, because it seems you don't
» even understand what pre-existing K14, K16 and K17 cells (and even
» some more with proper markers) in a mouse footpad in combination mit e.g.
» implanted DSC cells can produce (aka "JiGami" ) - especially in a young
» mouse.

So I think you should rather post something intelligent in the new
» hair tattoo thread or so.

I would like you to answer a couple of questions for me:

What, exactly, do you think the K14, K16, K17 and the host of other cells found in the foot pad of the mouse were doing before the DSC and/or DP cells were administered? Were they making hair follicles? Do hair follicles exist on the mouse foot pad under normal circumstances? Explain why?

Wait a little bit Mr.Z,
because at the moment I prepare more insights (including proper references) concerning your questions -insofar, because this ...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
“The DS cells can and do alter the epidermal genome expression - this has been demonstrated experimentally. The epidermal cells have a very high degree of plasticity which makes them prone to morphogenetic influence. In other words, they are capable of being reprogrammed. Thus the injected cells are changing the entire environment. This is why Replicel will succeed.”
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

... is NOT completely wrong - but I'm also not wrong. So we shouldn't quarrel in the meanwhile until I post these "insights".
