RepliCel (Hair Multiplication & Stem Cells Treatment)

posted by ccmethinning, 21.04.2012, 00:31

that's what I think it can do, it has been shown in mice to nicely increase
hair length and density.

For replicel to be approved as a treatment for minituarized follicles, it
would take way too much time that people who are starting to bald would not
benefit at all they would be nw 7s .

I think my son (if i have one) will benefit from this, which is good
because I'd really hate to pass this fuked up gene knowing that there isn't
many options other than Gho.

If it can "immunize", but doesn't grow new hair, it would be disappointing but useful nonetheless. They are testing in a completely bald area in the temple, so this clinical trial will likely give us no indication if "immunization" is possible. David Hall said they won't continue unless this trial gives growth, and I hope they would be more open minded than that and consider other possible uses. A Replicel vaccination (if that would indeed work, even if it needed to be done every couple years in case the cells migrate out of the follicle.) would be useful to a lot of people.
