I have one follicle that was dormant for twenty years, then woke up and started growing hair like crazy for the past ten years after I started Propecia (it's down near my original hairline, so it's easy for me to see it in the mirror).

I have other hairs that under a magnifying glass after starting Propecia, went from clear vellus hair to pigmented hair about a half inch long, one or two even longer; it just seems like it wouldn't take much to turn them terminal, and there a lot of them where there hasn't been terminal hair for thirty or more years.
