Astressin-B (Hair Multiplication & Stem Cells Treatment)

posted by overthetop, 26.02.2012, 19:15

So, I decided on a whim to post a question on the Sentia site as to what their plans are. This is the reply I got:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for your message. You are correct that Sentia owns the rights to the Astressin family of peptides. Sentia is willing to sub-license the peptides on either an exclusive or non-exclusive basis.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

It's hard to get a good read on how easy they will make it for other entities wanting to do work on this stuff. It just sounds like they're willing to play as long as they get their cut. Fair enough, I guess. They probably shelled out at the right time, taking a risk and want to make money. It also seems pretty clear that they don't want to do the work themselves (or maybe they don't have what it takes to do it).

What's weird to me is that there is even such thing as getting exclusive rights to a molecule. Then again, I guess if it is something that is created in a lab rather than a naturally occurring substance, hey...

Question for TaKeeLa: By the way if you are successful in getting onto the mailing list, please remember us and post any updates here (that is assuming they are able to get the go ahead to do something). I will do the same. It actually sound like they think they will be doing it, but that's not clear right now. What do you think ?
