ť ť ť When I was 21 I got a transplant from Bosley. If I were wiser at that
ť ť time,
ť ť ť I would not have done it because it used 2600 grafts, they were placed
ť ť ť poorly, and the yield was small. Huge mistake, I know know, reprimand
ť me
ť ť at
ť ť ť will.

ť ť ť Anyway, I have scheduled a session with Dr. Cole for the end of March
ť to
ť ť ť repair this mistake. The main reason that attracted me to him was that
ť ť a)
ť ť ť his work looked good in pictures and b) he appears to get these
ť results
ť ť ť with relatively few grafts. Since I'm not even 30 yet and have already
ť ť ť burned through 260o, conservation of grafts is a huge priority to me.

ť ť ť Please anybody who has had work by Dr. Cole give me their feedback. I
ť ť ť learned my lesson from the Bosley experience of doing my research
ť ahead
ť ť of
ť ť ť time. I'd really appreciate all feedback received. Thank you. I feel

ť ť ť an idiot for getting the one when I was 21, and I want to be smarter

ť ť My first repair session was with Dr. Cole. It didn't go well. The "plan"
ť ť was a 500 test graft session of beard hair, and he talked me into
ť doubling
ť ť the procedure. He was working on myself and someone else that day and
ť was
ť ť present around 20-30% of the time, his techs doing most of the work. My
ť ť result was almost undetectable 9 months, then a year later. What
ť bothered
ť ť me was he took scalp grafts (part of the "plan change", as the beard
ť that
ť ť was going into the scalp went into my strip scars) and those scalp
ť grafts
ť ť were scattered throughout a sea of plugs. It did nothing in the end.

ť ť What really bothered me though was I wasted ten grand AND precious scalp
ť ť donor, got no results, and then he talked me into buying his snake oil
ť ť shampoo and conditioner for $139.00, truly adding insult to injury.
ť ť
ť ť The good news is you wont get butchered by Cole, the bad news is he is a
ť ť hair mill more interested in money than his patients. Don't complain if
ť ť your repair goes nowhere with him at the helm, I just related my own
ť ť experience, and would hate to see anyone repeat it.

ť ť I think he is a good surgeon on virgin scalps but do not recommend him
ť for
ť ť repair.

ť ť This was MY experience, yours might be different, but you had better have
ť a
ť ť GOOD plan worked out in advance that you BOTH agree on. I would NOT
ť ť recommend him for ANY repair patients based on my own personal
ť experience
ť ť with him. I think someone with very minor thinning is okay but he just
ť ť didn't give a damn about any positive outcome with me in his chair, he
ť just
ť ť wanted to get the 1000 grafts planted and get paid, and thats exactly
ť how
ť ť it went down.

ť Hmmmm. Were you a very difficult case to begin with? I guess relative to
