Stigma - 700 FUE with Dr. Arvind - White Dots

My fuse surgery(700 grafts) summer 05 left me with white dots, about 1
- 1,5 mm in diameter. Had donor sealing done, but it did not work for
me.

Anyway, has anyone transplanted body-hair into white dots before? Results??

Also my sides and other places back on my head looks like that... the punches must have been 1 mm or more...

I never asked Dr. Arvind which punch he used. Maybe he can comment on it?

Tried to put a needle in the dots on my thies... no bleeding...maybe it is the sealent that made the healing so bad?

This is what Dr. Arvind had to say regarding my case:

"Stigma has been a patient of our clinic in summer 2005. His work required reparative HT in the hairline.

He has been in touch with me over time regarding possible plans for addressing future hairloss.
He had let me know his concerns recently and I have reviewed his procedure details and emailed him accordingly.

However, since this topic has been discussed on the forums, I feel its necessary to address it here too.

Techniques have evolved over the years.
Our clinic has always shared the progress as and when it has occured.

However,
to get to the reason of "why" of stigma's donor site situation, I felt
it was necessary to review the case reports of the patients who had got
their HT performed in a similar time frame.

The case discussed
at the following link, for example, involved the extraction of
follicular units and minigrafts from the hairline in April 2005.

The pictures were posted on the thread alongside a measuring scale.
The donor sealing protocol was performed and the healing that followed was with no visible white dot scarring.
In a recent review visit of this patient, I had the opportunity to re examine the area again. There were no white dots.

There
have been similar cases, I think another poster Dens1 too had previous
grafts extracted from the front hairline area. Donor sealing was
performed.

The patient discussed at this link too had FUSE
grafts extracted from the front hairline created by the flap. At his
repeat visit after 7 months, there were no visible marks in the area
from where the grafts were extracted.
We posted pictures as well as videoclips of this area.
You may view them here.

We have seen the donor sites of numerous other patients and have found the healing to be very satisfactory.

The
link given below shows the pictures and videos of another patient who
has got FUSE grafts extracted over a period of more than 2 years,
without any visible scarring.

----------------------------------------------

At this point, I
am concerned as to why stigma had the white dot scarring which other
patients of ours have not experienced and am investigating the reason
for the same.
