Pictures taken by me 7 weeks after his 5900 graft procedure at our clinic.

Here Dr. Arvind also mentioned:

"As mentioned by some of the posters on this thread, "the fuse and body hair grafts combination procedures" are likely to open the avenue to a more complete hair restoration for many people suffering from hairloss.

These combination procedures, as well as body hair only procedures in patients who have limited or no availability of scalp donor, have helped many patients acheive a level of hair restoration that was previously considered not possible.
People with extensive hairloss, also sometimes have sparse scalp donor hair. The use of available body donor hair is a valuable additional source.

Patients have gone for various options:

1. BHT only procedures in their initial step to be followed by the scalp+body donor graft placement as per requirement. (e.g. Newmane, Topshiny, Boomboom, Magneto, IP, A1, fueoptions etc.)

2. Scalp hair grafts ONLY procedures with limited BH grafts in isolated areas to see their growth. (most of our regular HT patients)

3. A combination of the scalp and the body donor hair in a judicious and pre planned way. (farscalpe, schmoe, schiller, MCH, finallyfree, hairytale etc.)

While one can debate on the merits of one approach over the other, the fact is, most of the times, the individual hair characteristics and the patient's own preference play a major role in deciding which approach to follow.
As long as one knows how to correctly use the body hair to the maximum benefit, all the 3 approachs have their merit."
