ok annnd here we go...
first off.. if you haven't seen my 'before' pics.. here they are.
or..

so as you can guess I'm pretty happy with the results. The front came in very nicely and I once again have a hairline. no more trying to create one with topic.
The front was mostly ,if not all, Scalp hair used.
The back was mostly BHT. however, there was much less hair placed into the back. So as I said, the big win in the surgery is that I have a hairline again.
Thank You Dr. A
The cons.. (nothings perfect)
I expected a little more density out of the body hair, the back is still relatively thin, however only 1200 grafts were placed on 'top' and in the crown.
The hair is Wirey! (granted, this really has nothing to do with the procedure or the Dr. this is natural I guess)
Right now it shoots straights up. ( I don't even spike it.. that's just how it sits.. or stands)
There was a split in the scab when it was healing and no hair grew in. This frustrates me a lot. you can't see it in the picture, I will shoot another picture next month so you can see it. when my scab was healing up on my scalp, it split towards the front, now there is a small strip of bare scalp that looks like a scar or something. oh well, it happens; not much could have been done i don't think.
Are my results what I expected? well.. no. my expectations were unrealistic. I think Dr. A did a great job with 3800 grafts; some of them being BHT. I am still very happy and enthusiastic about where we are with HT and BHT and my own results.
I plan on getting a follow up surgery sometime this year. 2000 more BHT on top, and a small amount of BHT in the temples to Close off the hairline(maybe 500 total). Dr. Armani just had a great post regarding closing off the temples. I completely agree with this, something so subtle can make a hairline look so much more youthful.
I photoshopped 2 pictures of the front hairline to show you what difference a small amount of grafts in the temples can do vs lowering the whole hairline..

so any feedback is appreciated. My journey isn't over; but it was an outstanding start in the right direction.
