As mentioned in the above link, even though the patient wanted his hairline advanced, “we elected to reinforce the frontal scalp and graft the strip scar. Several peaks were created to give the impression of hair line advancement. This was all done with ~1500 FUE grafts.”

This strategy for a more subtle goal was adopted in recognition of:

1. Poor donor characteristics (less density = less supply)
2. Lack of body hair supply to fall back on in the event of hair loss progression."
