I just had another FIT procedure with Dr. Cole last week (1470 grafts). This was my 5th procedure with Team Cole bringing my total graft count to 8353 grafts (5 procedures over the past 6 years). The main objectives for this procedure were to further fill in my previous strip scars, modify the hairline a tad and do another pass all over to increase density in front and on top. As usual, The experience was totally awesome - many times I got the royal treatment with Dr Cole, Dr Bridges and Dr Mwamba working on me all at the same time - it was great. I also starting using the Hair Cycles products which seem to be doing a top notch job on the healing side as well. Also while in ATL I had the pleasure to meet another Dr. Cole patient, nthmainneighbor, a man of many talents when it comes to all aspects of video (and a pretty cool guy to boot as well. I hope to have lots of pictures and video to help document my progress. Anyways, here's a pretty cool video nthmainneighbor put together from footeage of my trip... thanks dude - you rock!

Attached are some post-op photos from this morning. Today is my forth day out from surgery. the previous video was only from the first 4 HTs. Dr. Cole had already started working on filling in my strip scar when we started shooting the video in case your wondering why it looked like I just had strip surgery. I'm using Hair Cycle products (biotin spray, shampoo and donor gel) to help with the healing - they seem to be working really great - scabs are starting falling off already. some pictures may look a little shiny because of the biotin spray. I'm also using hydrocortisone cream on my donor as well. Some donor picts may have blotches of the cream that I was not able to wash out this morning (I'm pouring water from cup so I'm not agressively washing yet). I'm totally happy with how my previous FIT procedure turned out. Hopefully this last FIT will turn out just as well. Anyways, here are some picts:

All head donor was used and I did not have any body hair "farmed" into the extraction sites. I believe Dr. Cole tried not to hit too many of the same areas as before to keep the donor consistant instead of too thin in some areas. he also extracted grafts from the nape area to create a soft hairline. Dr. Cole said I still have "a little left in my donor tank" but I also have a good bit of body hair for a backup if ever needed. again, thanks for all the positives.
Just received some of my surgery picts from Dr. Cole's office. thanks FITLocks...

I'm attaching some picts 5 day post-op picts. I took a few quick picts inside today. I apologize the quality isn't the best on these - I thought I would try to take some with inside lighting and I'm having to use the camera timer on the back and side shots. you may see some reflection from the Hair Cycle biotin spray and donor gel in some areas. anyways, attached are the picts if anyone wants to see..

Here are a couple more but the reflection completely defeats the purpose...

Here are some nice donor shots here about 7 months post-op my first FIT (3 strip, 1 FIT at this time). I think I was buzzed down with a #4 guard here. still looks pretty good to me...

I tried to get cleaned up the best I could without disturbing any of the grafts or donor and take some pictures today. these picts are immediately after clean-up. you can view post-op FIT #1 picts at:

below are the picts from day 6 post-op w/ no meds/spray/gel:

Attached are some day 8 post-op w/ no meds/spray/gel picts. I started submerging my head under water and using gently my finger tips last night to try to help the scabs come off a little more (not forcing them off) while shampooing (Hair Cycle). I've really kept my recipient and donor pretty moist since post-op - looks like I have some pink spots as a result. I'm on my last day of Hair Cycle biotin spray and donor gel but guessing things should dry up more here on out since I'll only be applying mixodil spray - I guess I could go all pink on top though. anyways, attached are today's picts:

more day 8 picts....

10 day post-op picts
Most of the scabs have come off - some skin too - going for that "sunburned look" in places now. I've also started shedding some as well...

Attached are two week post-op picts... most of the scabs are gone. I've gone a bunch of shedding of skin and planted grafts as well... I'm sure this will continue for a little longer... I'm keeping my fingers crossed for no shockloss. I also started using minoxidil twice daily this week as well. I may drop back to nightly - the donor and recipient are starting to get a little agitated - they are more noticeable now as well (red) from the minox - otherwise I don't think they would be noticeable at all. these will be the last of the frequent post-op/healing picts unless something drastic occurs. I'll pict back up with monthly progress picts from here on out... anyways below are the picts...

a couple more...
