I don't wish to sound "salesy" and overhype him, but Dr. Williams has lived up to every word, and thus far, now on my fourth month, I am very pleased. All the concerns I had posted before were answered in full by Dr. Williams and have vanished as promised. I have a very difficult time trying to find the strip scar in fact, and the hair has grown through the T-closure very nicely. I look even more forward to when the hair will grow in further so I won't need to use Toppik and Couvre any longer as fill-ins. I just hope the coverage and appearance of more density will continue further. Since this is not only my first HT, but my first cosmetic procedure, I had no idea as to the outcome (and still don't for the finale) nor how much a difference restoring my hairline would make on my overall appearance. Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr. Williams. Two years of doing research and due diligence paid off indeed!

As a free follow-up to the procedure, I completed two mos. of laser treatment at his office, twice weekly, 30 minutes per session, and I believe it accelerated the growth. He claims he's getting phenomenal anecdotal reports from others as well who are doing nothing but the laser and no surgery.

Let me know what you guys think and if there's anything else I need to know or should be doing to improve the rate of growth, thickness, prevent loss in other areas, etc.

One question I do have is whether using camouflage cosmetics like Toppik and Couvre will hamper the growth of my new hair. I was told that it shouldn't be a problem since the follicles are deep enough in the dermal layers of the scalp where it wouldn't matter.

Would I be correct to assume I have about another two months before I see the full effect of more density? Perhaps even longer?

I any case, yes, Dr. Williams was completely up front in explaining to me that I would indeed need another "pass" to give it the density that I desire, therefore, I am anything but dissatisfied having known this up front.

In this first procedure, there were many multiple-hair grafts, so, theoretically, I could say I had at the very least 7000 individual hairs implanted. At exactly 3571 grafts counted, this was the most we could harvest in one mega-session, according to the doc.
