Case1488 - Hair Transplant Consultation
Saturday, December 9. 2006
Dear Doctor,
I an a 26 year old female suffering from androgenic alopecia from past 10 years. I also have history of subclinical hypothyroidism and also PCOD. My thyroid levels are normal since 2 years but still the pcod persists and has played remarkably in my hair loss. I have gradually lost hair in these 10 years and have tried all kind of medication. It seems that now I just can have little improved look through a transplant only. My hair are straight and silky and as per one of the doctors I don't really have an impressive growth on the donor area also. The hair are sparse there, but again it varies from doctor to doctor.
I would request you to kindly asses my case as I am enclosing my pictures of the affected area. Would the FUE hair transplant technique make a difference for someone like me?
Hope you will b able to help on this as it's really taking toll on my life.
Thanks and regrads
