Skin irritation (Hair Replacement Systems)

Curiuos if anyone has some advice on skin irritaions? It's been happening more frequently over the past 2 years. I wear an over all skin bond - no tape! It's a Farrell system if that makes a difference. It tends to happen in spots. I've used cortizone with some degree of sucsess but it does seem to lose it's effectivness after awhile. What I end up doing is not putting adhesive over the irritatation then it becomes very dry and flakey. Is this part od the healing process? Any help is greatly apppreciated, thanks!

Does it happen more frequently during winter months?

It sounds like common skin dermatitis or skin inflammatory conditions. Over the counter cortizone creams are usually very weak. You may want to consider a stronger corticosteroid from your doctor. Better yet, consult the people at Farrell and see if they have any advice for your condition.

I haven't consulted the people at Farrell yet. I went to a natural health food store and bought something called CamoCare just to give it a shot. If that doesn't work I guess I'll have to breakdown and go see a dermatologist.

solution

sorry for the previous one.

I had skin irritation and flaking for 10 years
it came out of nowhere. I went to many high end dermatologists, tried everything.
nothing worked.

several months ago, i learnt that reducing intake of dairy products help get rid of dandruff and flakiness.
also try this, i posted it somewhere else on hairsite but here it is again

get aloe vera water/ juice. the ones that you find in health stores , they're tasteless, try george's brand. if u can't find it, than any other will work

use one big cup
add 4 drops of rosemarie extract.
and 4 drops of thyme extract
and 4 drps of lavender extract.

u can also add calendula succuss which is a tea. boil it and then add the juice half a cup with the mix.
if you can't find that herb than its ok

shake the ingredients well in a spray bottle.
spray it on your scalp once or twice daily. it dries fast.

it worked for me. I'm telling u . I had 10 years of severe dermatitis condition.

Skin irritation

Skin irritation and skin corrosion refer to localized toxic effects resulting from a topical exposure of the skin to a substance.Wash the area with a gentle cleanser. This will ensure that anything that caused the irritation is removed from the skin.

Skin irritation- Solution

This might seem a hard solution but it definitely works. you have to weigh the pros and cons
I posted earlier in the thread one of the solutions which is a topical.

In fact dandruff and oily scalp results from the stomach's inability to process fats which in the end come out through the pores of the scalp.

fatty foods cause that. Dairy products and a lot of intake of meat. try to substitute dairy products for soy or other alternatives , and have meat no more than 4 times a week, 3 would be better.

I had the problem for 13 years and i went to see the best dermatologists in the country, useless.
last year a chinese doctor told me to follow this diet and it works

so its up to u
hope this helps
