Flint 28.03.2011, 07:36	Has anyone used Essential Oils for Topical (Topicals & Shampoos)
	Hello Just wondering if anyone has tried using the Essential oil mixtures you can find doing a quick google search. Here is one http://www.aromatherapy-at-home.com/doessentialoilsgrowhair.html I am currently using a mixture simalar to the one below except I am using Emu oil instead of jojoba. 2 drops Thyme essential oil ( Thymus vulgaris ) 2 drops Atlas cedarwood essential oil ( Cedrus atlantica ) 3 drops Lavender essential oil( Lavandula angustifolia ) 3 drops Rosemary essential oil ( Rosmarinus officinalis ) 3 ml teaspoon Jojoba oil 20 ml Grapeseed oil Flint is located in [NA] and he is available to meet: NO Post reply

I tried this for about a month and saw no improvement. I decided to stop when I began experiencing major shedding. At first I applied it 3 times a week and then switched to every night. 	Hi, I don't think essentiel oils are a good way to stop your hair loss. I use to try hair force one from claude bell canada and it work great for me espacially for my dandruff. This product also stop my hair loss. Its a shampoo, very soft for the scalp. I tried Nioxin, rogain and revivogen but all three were too hard on my scalp. 	The problem with essential oils(EO) is this: most EOs contain limonene; now, limonene is a good anti cancer agent, but limonene upregulates intra-cellular cAMP, and cAMP causes a premature exit of anagen phase in hair.. So this is bad. Now, the goal is to find an EO low in limonene but otherwise good for hair. For example, thyme (type thymol) should be fine. And clove (stem) would be interesting or bay (in both the master compound is eugenol - an androgen receptor antagonist). nazca is located in [NA] and he is available to meet: NO Post reply

	I have a hairfall and i dont know the reason i am only 35 and i have a baby 2010, it started then, doctors talk about hormones embalance but i have been waiting for the balance 2 years and 2 months . Now i am using the uk hair solutions oil once twice a week since February, i am still looking for a good shampoo to complement the treatment, my hair is thickening and i am losing less hair but no regrowth at all, i have lost more than half of my hair in the last 2 years, can't wait to get it back.[b][/b] I also have some bald patches, can i apply a diluted thym essential oils on the patchs? ladygaga is located in [NA] and he is available to meet: NO Post reply

The inhibitory compound is "carvacrol".
