To all the anti-wig people (Hair Replacement Systems)

posted by hairbear, 22.05.2012, 11:48

For someone like myself, who still has about 75% of my own hair...
Wearing a partial hair-system is a no-brainer.
I'm not wearing an unnatural BIG-THICK, hedgehog on my scalp.
yes, it can be a pain in the ass, at times.
And isn't cheap.

Once I learned how to take care of and maintain my systems...
I also had a number of sub-standard hair-systems which were defective.
Which also caused me grief, but overall my hair replacement career has been pretty positive.

Being a working musician, who does not want to wear ball-caps or hats on stage...Led me to take the plunge into non-surgical hair-replacement.
My main personal hair-loss problem is that my own hair-loss was patchy in spots.
I would never use a comb-over, they look so ridiculous to me.

Sure, if you are an old man who wears a huge-thick rock and roll mullet-type hair system...You will look ridiculous.
I have been wearing systems since my early 40s and I will continue to do so, until I feel it's too much of a bother or expense.

Some days, I simply do not wear my hair system and wear a ball-cap.
I have only been called on my hair-wearing by one guy who had seen me without my hat a few years before I began to wear hair-systems. He thought I had a transplant and he thought that it looked very good.
