Roger you're foolish for debating with Cal...he's an idiot. (Hair Multiplication & Stem Cells Treatment)

posted by roger_that, MARYLAND, 10.07.2016, 14:21

Cal - well, forgive me for harshing on you. I'm not trying to be the top dog here on anything... I enjoy disagreements, and just put my "definition" of a cure out there for discussion... Not trying to force it on anyone. It's my personal belief.

You know the old saying by Einstein: "Insanity is making the same mistake over and over again and expecting a different result."

Well, maybe we are doing that with so-called "treatments". You say we don't need a "cure", we need a "decent treatment".

Maybe the problem is that there will NEVER be a "decent treatment". Maybe the problem is that any treatment that is really decent will not be good for you (unacceptable side effects), and any treatment that is good for you (no side effects) won't be decent. Maybe the problem is, whether we like it or not, the quest for a "decent treatment" is futile.

So what I'm saying here is, maybe it's time we realized this and gave up the endless quest for a "decent treatment", and just realize that we should be looking for a real cure, because there won't be a "decent treatment", ever.

And that goes back again to my personal definition of a "cure". Something that is fool-proof, 100% reliable, works always and on all people, in other words "hair made to order" or "hair at will" as I call it.

It would have to involve some kind of cellular building or rebuilding of follicles -- in other words taking exogenous cells and putting them into the scalp to create new follicles. This means giving up on the idea that we can induce or prod our old follicles into growing hair again, and concentrating on replenishing our cell deficit with new cells, or using cells to build brand new hair follicles.

And another qualification here, before you jump on that. A number of researchers are working on this already. They haven't produced marketable results yet, but we know they are working on it.
