Hair Transplant Cost Considerations
When done properly under the hands of an experienced doctor, hair transplant is the most effective treatment for hair loss. It is the only option that can create a cosmetically acceptable improvement in coverage for both men and women using your own natural growing hair. No wigs, no medications.
We have probably mentioned this a hundred times already on HairSite but it is worth repeating. At HairSite we always stress that hair transplant is a life long investment and as such, QUALITY comes first. It is in your best interest to find a good doctor and to do it right the first time. Do not choose a clinic based on hair transplant cost alone. Yet, over the years we have seen countless people lured by clinics offering hair transplants at minimal cost, and unfortunately many were left with a lifetime of undesirable results and ended up having to spend a lot more in corrective procedures to undo the damages caused by inexperienced clinics.
That being said, there is no correlation between hair transplant cost and quality. An inexpensive hair transplant procedure does not necessarily mean that the quality will be poor, and paying a lot for a hair transplant procedure does not necessarily mean that the results will be stellar either. The key is really to do your research and find a clinic that is able to produce consistent results over an extended period of time. Sadly, this is not what most people want to hear. People nowadays make their hair transplant decisions as if they are shopping for groceries, they want it fast, and they want it cheap.
Hair Transplant Cost Turkey 2019 Update
The truth of the matter is that when it comes to hair transplant, the biggest deciding factor for most people is indeed HAIR TRANSPLANT COST. Turkey has become the hot spot for FUE hair transplant in recent years so here we look at trending hair transplant cost in Turkey and neighboring countries in 2019 for some of the popular FUE destination clinics.
Please note that hair transplant prices in Turkey do subject to change at the respective clinic's discretion and what we are covering here is purely based on our research at the time of compilation, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information presented here. Please contact the hair transplant clinic in Turkey directly for the most accurate pricing details.
By the way, all hair transplant clinics in Turkey have English speaking staff, so please don't even bother to ask if the hair transplant cost you are being quoted includes a translator or not. Similarly, ground transportation to and from airport, hotel, and clinic is also included in the hair transplant cost.
Also, please note that the majority of the hair transplant clinics in Turkey only offer FUE; Turkey will not be your choice destination for strip hair transplants.
Hair Transplant Cost Turkey - Dr. Koray Erdogan - ASMED, Istanbul
ASMED hair transplant clinic is located in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Koray Erdogan is the founder of the clinic. ASMED is presently the Top Ranked #1 hair transplant clinic in Turkey according to our statistics based on number of patient results published, famous for their artistic skills and hairline design.
The price for manual FUE at ASMED is 2.5 EURO per FUE graft. The price is inclusive of 2 - 3 nights of accommodation in the clinic’s suite or at Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Asia, a 5-star hotel according to ASMED. Breakfast and lunch included.
At this point, ASMED only offers FUE hair transplant. Body hair transplant that uses body or beard grafts as donor is not available to patients.
Hair Transplant Cost Turkey - Dr. Hakan Doganay - AHD, Antalya
AHD hair transplant clinic is located in Antalya, Turkey. Dr. Hakan Doganay is the founder of the clinic. AHD is the second highest ranked Turkish clinic on HairSite based on number of patient results published in our forum.
Unlike ASMED that only offers FUE technique using scalp donor, AHD also offers Body Hair Transplant (BHT) using beard or body grafts as donor.
The price per graft for machine operated scalp FUE is 2.0 Euro, manual FUE is 2.5 Euro, hair transplant using body or beard donor is also 2.5 Euro. Repair procedure is 500 Euro per session. The price includes 2-3 nights accommodation at the hospital where the procedure is performed.
Dr. Hakan does all implantation part by himself. Donor extraction is done by technicians.
Hair Transplant Cost Turkey - Cosmedica, Istanbul
Cosmedica hair transplant clinic is based in Istanbul, Turkey. Dr. Acar is the founder of Cosmedica. Cosmedica deviates from the typical hair transplant pricing scheme of price per graft. Instead, Cosmedica is the only Turkish clinic in our survey that quotes patients a flat rate for FUE hair transplant.
Pricing is based on 3 flat rate packages. Gold package 2,100 Euro; Gold Plus 2,490 Euro and VIP package 3,490 Euro. The biggest difference between Gold and Gold Plus is that under Gold Plus, patients get 3 nights of accommodation (instead of 2), needle free anesthesia as well as 6 months of after care products. VIP package will offer all the benefits of the Gold Plus package as well as the luxury of having Dr. Acar himself personally prepare the recipient site for the patient.
According to Cosmedica, patients should expect to get approximately 4000-5000 grafts in one session regardless of which package they choose.
Hair Transplant Cost 2019 - BEYOND Turkey
As fast as Turkey has risen to become the choice destination for FUE procedures in recent years, it is also rapidly losing its appeal lately thanks to competing clinics in neighboring countries that offer equally competitive prices as well as world class quality in hair transplants.
For example, both Greece and Cyprus have recently emerged to become the most sought after alternatives to Turkey as a FUE destination.
Besides competing on price and quality, countries such as Greece and Cyprus also offer the added advantage of political stability where tourists can feel safe and secure from being caught up in civil unrest or a terrorist attack during their visit.
As a matter of fact, The U.S. Department of State has issued a travel advisory in Feb 2019 asking people to reconsider traveling to Turkey due to terrorism and arbitrary detentions.
"Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs ... Security forces have detained tens of thousands of individuals, including U.S. citizens, for alleged affiliations with terrorist organizations based on scant or secret evidence and grounds that appear to be politically motivated. U.S. citizens have also been subject to travel bans that prevent them from departing Turkey", the warning says.
Here we offer two alternative FUE hair transplant destinations besides Turkey that are worth considering - Greece and Cyprus, both are only about an hour away from Turkey by air.
Hair Transplant Cost - HDC, Cyprus
HDC is based in Cyprus just a short distance south of Turkey. It is arguably the most under-rated FUE hair transplant clinic in the world. HDC has solid reputation on HairSite and is presently the No 1, Top Ranked hair transplant clinic in Europe according to our patient result statistics and also Top 5 overall worldwide with over 170 published results and well over 15 years of uninterrupted patient records.
At HDC, the price is 2.95 Euro per FUE graft and 3.50 Euro per graft for BHT (body hair transplant) using body or beard hairs as donor. Accommodation included.
Hair Transplant Cost - Bisanga-Cole, Athens, Greece
The biggest news in 2019 for budget conscious FUE patients is none other than the opening of Bisanga Cole Hair Transplant clinic in Athens, Greece. founded by two heavy weight in the hair transplant industry (Dr. John Cole & Dr. Christian Bisanga). BC Hair Transplant is set to forever change the landscape in affordable FUE hair transplants.
Founder of the 2nd highest ranked FUE clinic in the US, Dr. Cole is widely respected as one of the world's pioneers in FUE hair transplants as well as other cutting edge hair restoration techniques including Body Hair Transplant and No-Shave FUE techniques to name a few. Dr. Cole is one of the first worldwide to use Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) theray for hair restoration and also among the first in the world to include Acell cell regeneration matrix in hair transplantation.
The new BC Hair Clinic in Greece will be subject to the same high standards as Dr. Cole's FUE hair transplant practice in the US.
The price per graft will be at an incredibly competitive rate of 2.50 Euro for both FUE and BHT (body hair transplnat).

Diabetes - Hair Transplant for Diabetic Patients
Hair Transplant for People with Diabetes
Diabetes is fast becoming the biggest epidemic of the 21st century. Lately, the topic of doing hair transplants on people with diabetes has become a recurring subject in our forum.
Is it safe to perform hair transplant for people with diabetes? What are some of the things diabetic patients should be aware of when making a decision about hair transplant?
Hair Transplant: Type I vs Type II Diabetic Patient
Type I diabetic has insulin dependancy. These patients rely on daily insulin injection that infuses the proper amount of insulin to control blood sugar/glucose. It is harder for Type I patients to control their glucose/blood sugar. They tend to have problems with healing especially when the surface of the skin or scalp is compromised.
Type II diabetic controls their glucose/blood sugar without the need for insulin. They do that mainly with medications or lifestyle changes such as exercise or diet.
When it comes to hair transplant for diabetic patients, there is really no consensus as to what clinics should or should not do. Every clinic seems to have its own policy in dealing with hair transplants for people with diabetes.
Here we discuss how one clinic manages the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post operative protocols when performing hair transplants for diabetic patients. Please consider this as general information only and does not consitute medical advice by any means. As always, consult your doctor before making a decision.
Hair Transplant - Diabetic Patient - Pre-operative Protocol
- Donor laxity. A diabetic patient should perform stretching exercises for a strip excision. The strip excision width should be extracted very conservatively so that the surrounding tissues will not be compromised in terms of blood circulation and to also decrease a chance of infection or necrosis. In FUE, donor laxity is less of a concern.
- A relatively good control and close monitoring by the patient of their sugar/blood glucose/insulin levels before surgery for an extended period of time.
- Manage the patient's expectation properly; advise diabetic patients about the possibility of below average hair transplant yield from the procedure.
- Check the sugar/blood glucose to see if the sugar/blood glucose is within a normal range before the surgery. Postpone the surgery if necessary.
Hair Transplant - Diabetic Patient - Intra-operative Protocol
- The blood gucose/sugar levels must be monitored continuously throughout the surgery. Insulin is adjusted accordingly if necessary for Type I patients.
- Medications that would cause a problem with diabetic patients are withheld. Steroids such as prednisone, etc are not prescribed.
Hair Transplant - Diabetic Patient - Post-operative Protocol
- Advise the patient to continue to monitor his blood glucose/sugar closely and make the necessary insulin adjustments if necessary.
- Advise patient to monitor signs of impaired healing, infection, fever, etc… And if anything seems abnormal then they must call the hair transplant doctor or his primary care physician immediately or even check in to the hospital for immediate care.
Safe Hair Transplant for People with Diabetes?
Hair transplant is a surgical procedure. There is no such thing as a safe transplant for diabetic patients. All surgical procedure carries risks. Hair transplant is not a medical necessity. When in doubt, it is best not to proceed with the hair transplant procedure. If you insist on getting a hair transplant procedure, consider a procedure with as few grafts as possible to minimize the possibility of complications. It is also very important to have consultations with as many doctors as possible before making a decision. You will be surprised how doctors opinion on the subject can vary greatly.

Man Dies After Hair Transplant
Can People Die from a Hair Transplant?
One may wonder, can someone die from a hair transplant? Apparently yes.
Hair transplant is the process of transplanting donor follicles from one part of the patient's scalp or body to balding areas in his scalp. When done correctly under the hands of a skilled surgeon, hair transplant is by far the most effective treatment for hair loss in men. The treatment can work very well for women hair loss as well in many instances.
While hair transplant is a surgical procedure in itself and as such, it does come with risks of complications, death as a result of hair transplant is indeed extremely rare.
Hair Transplant Death - Lost His Hair, Then His Life
Tragic hair transplant nightmare; story broke out in our forum about a man who dies after a hair transplant surgery at a private clinic in India.
The patient was a 43 year old man who went for a hair transplant surgery in Mar 2019. He died 12 hours after the hair transplant procedure.
Hair Transplant Death at Dr. Vikas Halwai's Clinic, India
It is reported that the hair transplant procedure was performed at Dr. Vikas Halwai's Skin & Hair Clinic in Mumbai, India. The patient paid 500,000 rupees or approx US$7,250 for the cosmetic procedure. Tragically, the man did not survive to see his new hair.
Cause of Hair Transplant Death
The investigators are still examining the cause of death at the time when this is published.
Some suggest that because the patient went for a megasession of 9,000 grafts in one sitting for his procedure, he was at a higher risk for complications. A typical hair transplant procedure averages about 3,000 grafts in one sitting that lasts about 4-6 hours. Anything above 6000 grafts is considered a megasession.
Experienced doctors have no problem performing megasession for their patients on a routine basis, but as a general rule, most doctors tend to stick to the average session of about 3000 grafts or fewer.
However, it is unlikely that the megasession procedure itself is the direct cause of death for this patient because complications were reported at approximately 3,700 grafts into the 9,000 grafts procedure.
Many sources suggest that a more probably cause of death was the result of a severe allergic reaction that that the patient developed in response to the anesthesia. It is possible that excessive amount of anesthesia that was used in preparation for a 9000 grafts megasession might have played a role in his demise, an incident of overdosing in anesthesia.
The patient reported symptoms of neck pain, trouble breathing as well as swelling on the face and throat; doctors speculated that a severe allergic reaction known as an anaphylactic shock is the most likely cause of death. Anaphylaxis is a severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. Complications can occur during or after the hair transplant surgery.
Other speculative allegations include the cleanliness of the clinic, ie: whether the clinic and the equipment were properly sterilized. The possibility of strokes or heart attacks cannot be ruled out either.
Another speculation was whether adequate pre-op screening was done prior to the surgery to determine if the patient was indeed a good candidate for hair transplant procedure. Most hair transplant clinics would discuss a patient's underlying medical conditions in sufficient details prior to booking an appointment for surgery. In addition, the patient is asked to submit blood work for evaluation as part of the pre-screening process. It is unclear whether these protocols are being followed at Dr. Halwai's clinic prior to surgery.
About Dr. Vikas Halwai Hair Transplant
According to some medical portals online, Dr. Vikas Halwai is profiled as a dermatologist, dermatosurgeon, cosmetologist, trichologist, venereologist, and hair transplant surgeon with 8 years of experience.
Dr. Vikas Halwai's private practice is called Skin & Hair Clinic located in Lalbaug, a prominent locality in Mumbai, India. Dr. Halwai is also cited as a lifetime member of Indian Association of Dermatologist and American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) with his specialty in hair transplant, skin disorders, and venerology.
Hair Transplant Complications & Death Rate
Common side effects and complications associated with hair transplant procedure includes post surgical swelling of the face which ususally disappears after 2-3 days, numbness in the donor site, poor yield or scarring.
Hair transplant related death or life threatening complications are indeed extremely rarely. That being said, this is not the first time someone dies after hair transplant. In 2016, a 22 year old medical student died 2 days after his hair transplant procedure in India. In the same year, in July 2016, a man lost his eye after a hair transplant procedure in Hyderabad India as a result of bacterial infection.

How To Fix Hair Transplant Scars
Types of Hair Transplant Scars
Hair transplant is a surgical procedure and it is inevitable that the patient will be left with certain scars whether big or small, visisble or not. This will happen even under the hands of the most skillful doctors in the world. Any doctor or clinic who advertises that they offer a 100% totally scar free procedure is simply not telling you the truth.
Hair transplant scars can happen both in the recipient site and the donor site. Scars in the recipient site can be in the forms of plugs, ridging, pitting. On the other hand, hair transplant scars in the donor site are mostly in the form of donor strip scars from FUT or strip harvesting procedures. Hair transplant donor scars can also be in the form of visible white dots due to poorly executed FUE techniques.
How To Fix Hair Transplant Scars - Donor Site
Hair transplant donor scar is by far the most sought after repair procedures from hair transplant patients worldwide. In this article we focus our discussion on fixing hair transplant scars in the donor site as a result of strip or FUT procedures. This is commonly referred to as strip scars or linear scars in our community. This type of scars typically go across the back of the patient's head from ear to ear and can widen over time. See photo illustration at the top of this page.
We will discuss 4 ways to repair, fix or camouflage hair transplant donor strip scars.
1. Grow Your Hair Long
The easiest and least expensive way to fix a hair transplant strip scar is to simply grow your hair long to camouflage the problem areas. This is probably what most people do until the scar has widened over time and make it impossible to hide anymore. Also, some may just get tired of having to constantly remind their barbers to keep the hair in the back long in order to hide the scar, and that's when they decide to do look for a more permanent fix.
2. Camouflage with Hair Fibers or Spray
If your barber happened to cut your hair too short in the back and caused the strip scar to show, a fast and easy fix would be instant hair fibers or spray paint for thinning hair. This is an easy and very inexpensive fix. There are plenty of hair thickening fibers on the market and you simply sprinkle the tiny microscopic powder like hair fibers to the problem area and your problem will be solved almost instantly. Hair thickening fibers come in many colors nowadays so matching that to your natural hair color is never a problem. However, please note that this is a temporary fix only. The hair fibers will come off when in contact with water or soap so you almost need to reapply daily.
3. Hair Transplant Scar Excision
Now we get into something a bit more invasive if you are looking for something other than a temporary fix. One option is hair transplant scar excision, ie: removing the existing linear scar by means of another procedure in the donor site, almost the same as how the strip hair transplant was originally performed except that this time the doctor just moves the scar tissue. Healing time can be an issue as the patient will need to wait about a month for the donor site to heal after scar excision. The procedure can be costly as it is another surgical procedure that is carried out at the doctor's clinic. Also, this method does not completely remove the strip scar. It simply removes the excess scar tissue to make the existing scar look smaller or narrower in width across the patient's head. The goal is to reduce the existing linear scar to a pencil thin scar so that it is easier to hide. The patient is still left with the closure of the excision which over time may widen and become a problem again for the patient.
4. Scalp Micropigmentation SMP
Scalp micropigmentation or SMP is a recent technology in hair restoration that involves the use of tattoo to simulate hair follicles or hair growth on a person's scalp. When done properly, the result can be very natural and almost undetectable to the eye. The ink can be permanent or semi permanent. The procedure is relatively invasive and the result can last a long time. Below is a hair transplant strip scar repair that was performed using The Weston System in scalp micropigmentation.
5. Strip Scar Repair using FUE or BHT
The last and final option is to plant FUE grafts into the strip scars. This is probably the most effective way in fixing hair transplant strip scar problem permanently. This option will also produce the most natural results when done correctly. By planting fresh grafts into the scar area, this can break up the scar tissue and regenerate hair growth in the problem areas. For patients with insufficient head donor, doctors can transplant beard or chest donor grafts into the scar tissue. Beard grafts, in particular, are known to be particularly robust for repair sessions of this nature. One potential problem with this treatment is that if we are dealing with keloid scars or thick scar tissues that are completely void of blood circulation, then it may take many more donor grafts in order to generate the yield or regrowth necessary to break up the scar tissue.

Haircut Before Getting Hair Transplant
Do you get a Haircut before a Hair Transplant?
If you have scheduled an upcoming hair transplant procedure, you need to know how to wear your hair before going into the hair clinic on the day of the procedure. This involves the big questions of how long you should grow your hair before the procedure and whether you should get a haircut just before the hair transplant.
The answer: it depends.
How Bald Are You Before the Hair Transplant
If you have extensive baldness prior to the hair transplant procedure, for example, a Norwood 5 or 6, then a haircut or not is irrelevant. It does not matter how long you wear your hair going into the procedure. There is not enough hair on your scalp to make any difference either way.
However, say if you are a Norwood class 3, you still have a fair amount of hair going into the surery. Then it will make a difference whether you have long or short hair going into the procedure.
Long Hair vs Short Hair Before Hair Transplant
From the hair transplant doctor's perspective, it is best that you have relatively short hair prior to the procedure. The reason is that shorter hair will make it easier for the doctor to extract the donor grafts and transplant them to the recipient sites. Longer hair will get in the way especially with the extraction or donor harvesting process.
From the patient's perspective, longer hair prior to the procedure will function as a great camouflage post op. If a patient is able to keep his hair long, it will cover the donor site nicely without being detected by friends or families. The patient can resume his daily routine faster.
Haircut After a Hair Transplant
How long do you need to wait to get a haircut after a hair transplant? The longer the better. You definitely do not want to go for a haircut just one week after a hair transplant. Post op hair transplant patients are typically left with scabs all over the donor site and recipient site. Besides, the freshly transplanted grafts need time to take and you definitely do not want to do anything that may dislodge the transplanted grafts or damage the area.
Another concern is possible infection caused by shears or cutting tools that are not properly sanitized at the barber shop. Last thing you want is to spend thousands for a hair transplant procedure and have it ruined by a haircut soon afterwards.
As a general guide, it is best to wait until all the scabs on your head have fallen off before getting a haircut post op. This usually takes about 3 weeks after your hair transplant procedure.

Does Hair Transplant Work?
Does Hair Transplant Work? Honest Answers
Does hair transplant work? That's what all hair loss sufferers, men and women, want to know when they notice initial signs of hair loss. The truth, the honest answer, is that it really depends on your goals and expectations. Different people have different expectations. There is no one right answer. However, some factual information about hair transplant can prevent you from a big disappointment.
Hair Transplant: A Cure?
If you think that hair transplant is a cure and it will forever solve your hair loss problem, then you will very likely be disppointed. Hair transplant is not a cure. Granted, the hairsplanted grafts will likely last you decades, people will continue to lose their native hair even after a hair transplant.
Hair Transplant: Bring Back Lost Hair?
If you think that hair transplant can bring your lost hair back, then you will be disappointed. What's lost is lost. Hair transplant cannot bring your lost hair back. Hair trasnplant is the process of relocating permanent donor follicles (usually from the back of your head) to balding areas in your scalp. There is no real net gain in hair follicles after a hair trasnpalnt procedure.
Hair Transplant: Teenage Density & Hairline?
If you are hoping that a hair transplant can bring back your teenage density and hairline, forget it. Although it is possible in some instances, it is not advisable. Hair loss continues to progress over time. No ethical doctor would give their patients a thick teenage hairline and density leaving their patients look like a freak as they grow older.
Hair Transplant: No Scars
If you have seen advertisements claiming that hair transplants nowadays do not leave any scars, run away from these clinics as fast as you can. These advertisements are hugely misleading. Although FUE hair transplants when done correctly by an experienced surgeon will leave very little visible scars, it does not mean that it is scar free. Hair transplant is a surgical procedure and it will inevitably leave some form of scarring regardless of how big or small the scars are.
What Can Hair Transplants Give You?
So what can you expect from a hair transplant? If you go with a very experienced and ethical doctor or clinic, you can get a cosmetically acceptable improvement in covereage that looks natural by general standards. Note that of course this means different things for different people. Every doctor has something different to offer. Some are experts at hairline designs. Others are excellent in creating the illusion of density. The key is to do your research very thoroughly and carefully. Pick an established doctor or clinic who is well known for the kind of results you want.

Trump Hair Mystery
United States President Donald Trump is all about controversies whether it be polictics or business but nothing has generated as much controvery as his hair. Trump hair mystery is the source of relentless speculation even before he became president of the United States. The media and the general public have never eased their obsession with Trump hair mystery over the years. The never ending obsession speculates whether Trump hair is real, is he wearing a hairpiece, did he have work done, what kind of work etc etc.
Trump Hair Mystery Solved?
The surface of a recent video of Trump boarding Air Force One has social media going wild on Trump hair mystery frenzy. The recent video shows Trump hair caught in the wind while boarding Air Force one and exposed what some people believe to be a large bald patch in the back of his head. To some people, this video is more important than Trump's tax cuts and foreign policy.
Trump Hairpiece or Trump Hair Flap Surgery?
So does this video really solve Trump hair mystery once and for all or actually fueling more specualtion? Some speculate that Trump's hairpiece was blown in the air while boarding the aircraft. Others speculate that Trump might have hair flap surgery done in the past. We all know what a hairpiece is but a lot of us actually have no clue what exactly is hair flap surgery.
Hair flap surgery is one of the oldest hair transplantataion technique that is rarely used nowadays. Many consider hair flap surgery an antiquated technique much like the old scalp reduction procedure for hair loss. Duuring a hair flap surgery, the strip or a large patch of hair bearing skin is removed from the back of the patient's head. The entire patch of hair bearing skin is then transplanted to the patient's balding area, usually the top and front of the scalp.
Because hair flap surgery involves removing a large patch of hair bearing skin from the back of the patient's head, the patient is usually left with a large bald spot in the back of his head after the procedure.
So there you have it. Hair flap surgery is a possible explanation of why you see what appears to be a large bald patch in the back of Trump's head in the video. Does the video look like Trump had hair flap surgery done? You be the judge.
By the way, hair flap surgery is not the same as scalp reduction. Scalp reduction is the process of removing bald skin from the scalp which is a very different procedure from hair flap surgery.
Hair Flap Surgery: It Can be Fixed
If Trump hair mystery is indeed the result of a hair flap surgery from many years ago, there is a remedy for that. Nobody needs to live with unsightly hair transplant scars these days. Repair sessions with an experienced hair transplant doctor using body or beard grafts donor can restore some normalcy for most badly scarred hair transplant patients.

The second video shows patient's first visit to HDC clinic. HDC clinic and surgical facility is located in a building just across the street from HDC gueset apartment. So you can imagine it is very convenient and it will only take minutes for patients to retreat to the guest apartment after surgery. This video footage is also quite interesting in the sense that you can clearly see patient's spy cam (with the help of his travel campanion) capturing the initial consultation with HDC doctors and technicians. The doctors and technicians had no clue they were being videotaped.
Day 1 and Day 2 Post Op
In this video, you can see what HDC hair transplant patient looks like day 1 and 2 after hair surgery. The patient's hair transplant recipient site is full of scabs, which is very commong among all hair transplant procedures. This patient returned to HDC hair transplant clinic for his first shampoo after the procedure. The technician also applied anti biotic ointment all over this scab to prevent infection. In Day 2 post op, you can see very obvious signs of swelling all over the patient's face. This is also very common for all hair transplant procedures.
6 Months Post Op
Here's HDC hair transplant patient's 6 months post op update. As you can see, density and coverage look very impressive with only 3200 FUE grafts. It looked like the majority have the grafts have grown out already at 6 months. The patient also went for his first hair transplant since the surgery.
7 Months Post Op
At 7 months post op, the improvement for this HDC hair transplant patient is remarkable. There is very noticeable thickening between month 6 and 7. The patient also commented how in his own experience, Nizoral shampoo had caused thinning for his crown.
